The Horse (गराइ) (Simple Translation )


The horse is a four-footed domestic animal. It is found in all over the world. The horse is beautiful animal to look at.


It has two long and erect (थोंगोर) ears. But it has no horns. Its tail is short (गुसुं) but covered (बुंफबनाय) with long hair. Its face (खुगा) is long. Its neck (गोदोना) is also long. Its whole body is covered with smooth. (मिहि) and thick (रोज्जा) hair. The colour of horse is generally (सरासनम्रा) red, (गोज्जा) But there are white and black horses also.


The horse can run very fast. (गोखै) The horse is used for races. (खारनायाव) It draws (बोयो) carts. (गारी) In the ancient time(गोदो-गोदाय) the horse was largely (मैखोमै) used in wars (दावहायाव) and hunting. (मैहुराव) In some countries (हादर) the horse is used for plughing also. (हाल-एवनाय)


The horse lives on grass. Gram (बुत) is its very favourite (आंगोथार)food.


The horse is of different sizes. Horses of Australia are large (गिदिरथार) in size. Arabian horses are very famous. (मुंदांखा)


The horse is gentle (माहि) and faithful (फोथायसुला) animal. It is fond of its master. (गिरि)
